Howie's been around since the '70s as a musician. After a hiatus of 18 years while raising a family, he's been back out there since 2003. Currently he spends time writing, recording, producing songs, and touring while he's not visiting the grandkids with his lovely wife Debbie.

Maurice Kenny

Randy Lewis

Born in Watertown, New York, Maurice Kenny is one of the most celebrated Native American poets of all time.  He has published over thirty books of poetry, fiction, and essays. His Mama Poems, an extended elegy, won the American Book Award in 1984, and his bookss Blackrobe, Issac Jogues, and Between Two Rivers were nominated for the Pulitzer Prize.

Randy Lewis is an author and poet who lives on Keese Mills Road in Paul Smiths.  Her work has appeared in Blueline, Adirondack Life, Many Moons, the Sequel,  the Northern New Yorker, and the Adirondack Daily Enterprise,  She wrote for Minnesota Public Radio's A Writer's Almanac for over a year.  Lewis is currently working on two new books, one a compilation of poems written in Aprils over the past decade.
